A framework is easier to judge against a real-shaped problem. Each case here describes one capacity-planning problem space and leaves the answers open. The rules for writing one, and the case format, are on the guide's Cases page.
Case 1: the launch that needed memory
The seed paper's worked example, told as a case: a launch approved on CPU alone, a memory question asked after its commit point, and a bill 30% over plan. Read it on the Cases page.
Case 2: Popcorn Pajamas
A fictional streaming service's whole capacity problem, built from public information, with the answers left open.
- The case page: the situation in two minutes.
- The full case: The complete case: the system, demand, supply, the planning organization, sixteen problems, twenty causal chains and six scenarios for 2027.
- How the practice approaches it: Each of the case's sixteen problems mapped to the seed paper, and seven places where the body of knowledge runs out.

Cases from your own experience follow the anonymization checklist; problem-space cases follow the four rules. Both are on the Cases page, and every case starts as a discussion.
