What this site knows about you

Almost nothing. It’s a set of static pages. It has no forms, no cookies and no analytics, and it loads nothing from anyone else.

The site

  • No tracking. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising tags, no embedded videos or fonts from other companies.
  • One small script, our own. On reading pages, a short script watches for text you select, so it can offer Discuss this passage. It builds a link to GitHub (or an email) with your selection quoted. It sends nothing and stores nothing: the site’s security policy blocks it from contacting any server. Nothing leaves your browser unless you click the link yourself. With scripts off, every page still works.
  • Hosting. The pages are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your browser’s request to deliver the page. We don’t turn on request logging for this site, and we don’t receive a list of visitors.
  • Downloads. The PDF and EPUB come straight from this site, with nothing attached.

If you write to us

Mail to cpp@anacay.org is read by the steward, Anacay, and used only to answer you and to improve the body of knowledge. We don’t sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.

We don’t put what you send into any AI tool that is allowed to train on it.

To have it removed, write to the same address and ask. We’ll delete what we hold about you within a week and tell you when it’s done.

If you contribute

Discussions, issues and edits happen on GitHub, and the practice has a page (and later a group) on LinkedIn. Those are public spaces, run under GitHub’s and LinkedIn’s own privacy terms. What you post there is visible to anyone.

Accepted contributions are licensed CC BY-SA 4.0 and credited by edition, under your name or a handle you choose. You can ask to be listed as anonymous. Because the text is openly licensed and versioned, a contribution can’t be pulled out of copies others have already made. We can remove your name from the credits on request.

Never post anything confidential to an employer, client or vendor. If something slips through, tell us privately and an editor will remove it.
